Rtsp & Pure2

Hi,

My ISP provider (Free from France) give me the ability to watch live channels on PC if in same LAN, the link is provided like this:

Source code

1
rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201&flavour=ld

With VLC on computer no problems, but when i try with my box on same lan nothing happen.

Digging deeply here's the result.

Pure2 6.3 last 3.3.2019 release

First verifying if ffmpeg is installed

Source code

1
2
root@zgemmah9s:~# opkg install ffmpeg
Package ffmpeg (3.4.2-r15p) installed in root is up to date.

Then trying this commandline :

Source code

1
root@zgemmah9s:~# ffprobe rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201&flavour=ld

Give me this result :

Source code

1
2
[rtsp @ 0x188ab70] method SETUP failed: 500 Internal Server Error
rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1: Server returned 5XX Server Error reply

It's not specific to Pure2, tried others images, same results.

What i'm doing wrong ?
How could i do to play those streams without third party plugins ?

Regards

Franc

Are you sure you have working rtsp stream?

Try with this one:

Source code

1
ffprobe rtsp://184.72.239.149/vod/mp4:BigBuckBunny_115k.mov

After you get working streams you need to add them into bouquet, in this way.
so at the end, needs to be:

Source code

1
2
#SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//184.72.239.149/vod/mp4%3aBigBuckBunny_115k.mov
#DESCRIPTION Big Buck Bunny Show

please note you need to replace all..

Source code

1
: with %3a

- restart e2

Not a fan of IPTV stuff, therefore a bit clueless, but maybe this can help as well.
delfi has attached the following file:

Thank you very much Delfi,

Nothing illegal here this stuff is provided for free by my ISP.
The problem was in correctly converting streams, your's is much better than the one i had (m3u2userbouquet.html)
It works now ;-)

Yeah, you can use converter as well.
But i want to show you what is the correct approach/principle for that. ... just replace : with %3a

Thank you Franc,

I was always using a simple html page (m3u2userbouquet.html) to convert streams, here's the result with the first link above :

Quoted

4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201&flavour=ld

This doesn't work

The same stream with Delfi's converter :

Quoted

4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:rtsp%3a//mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201&flavour=hd

This work.
Replacing : with %3a isn't enough, note the difference in red, some characters are misinterpreted.

So better ask specialist, there are many here for a quick answer -bier-

This doesn't work
You can't replace '&' with encoded version of ampersand character in url, in this case, in combination with gstreamer. This will give you an error in most cases.
