PurE2 online update overwrites the /etc/enigma2/fnc_olm_config.cfg file....
That is impossible.

Perhaps I should have been clearer- It does not remove the file .cfg but-

a) I updated my Zgemma H9S yesterday and it removed both user and password in /etc/enigma2/fnc_olm_config.cfg
b) I updated my Zgemma H7S today and it removed both user and password in /etc/enigma2/fnc_olm_config.cfg
ie.
username=
password=
Try it.

Yes, i already did with a few boxes today, everything is ok.
fnc_olm_config.cfg is dynamically created file if not exists, and opkg cannot overwrite this file.

I will check again if somewhere in the code is a bug...

Someone else can confirm this too?

I can confirm config file is cleared when updating , running 6.2 on edision osmega and formuler1 and 6.3 on zgemma h7s in each case after updating Olm the config file needs to be uploaded again and then reboot for it to work. Thanks for great plugins Franc -bier-

OLM CFG file for password

Hiya boys I’ve updated an i55 tonight using the online update and the CFG has vanished completely I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it’s not creating a CFG file to add my user and password. Anyone else had this issue? Many thanks all Mark

1st post :)

- open /etc/enigma2/fnc_olm_config.cfg and enter username/password in appropriate fields
- save config file
- restart e2

So new place to enter your OLM username and password is in
/etc/enigma2/fnc_olm_config.cfg
This enables safe Backup (settings) and restore, as well survives new updates.
