At the moment, the skin we have for it is a specially developed one, not FHD Estuary but "HD Ready", i.e. 720. JD's drivers do not support 1080 skin and if you try installing it you will be left with constantly booting (BSOD) STB, sadly...

We are waiting for the manufacturers to improve those drivers, kernel, base everything on the latest SDK from SoC manufacturer, HiSilicon etc. etc.

Then, perhaps all the FNC plugins will be working for it, as well and so on....

How to flash it?

Well, the usual Dinobot procedure, via USB stick...

Find your image for it, decompress it and rename the 2 folders and a file like this:

So, dinobot, u42 and 'noforce' into 'force'.

USB stick must be formatted in FAT32. Stick it into your JD.

Once you plug the receiver into electricity, quickly keep pressing (some 5 times, to engage the flashing procedure) the green button, until you see flashing on TV screen...

How to structure it well

I presume you might need to firstly install Flash Expander from MENU > Plugins > Extensions and Swap Manager, from System plugins.

Then, partition a USB stick into 2 partitions, say 2GB for Flash Expander and the rest as HDD.

Then, put a USB stick into the JD's USB port and mount it as

/media/usb (for smaller partition for FE) and

/meida/hdd for picons, movies, timeshift, SWAP file, EPG etc.

Mount them in this fashion:

Structuring PurE2: mounting devices/partitions in Device Manager, what to send where!

These are some of the results I got:
